Event Name: Annual Inter-College Debate Competition – "Debate-E-Darbaar 2024
Organized by: Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET)
Date: 21st September 2024
Time: 8:30 am onwards
Location: TCET, Mumbai
Registration Fee: ₹400 per team
Team Size: Minimum 4 - Maximum 6 participants per team
Eligibility: Open to all colleges from Mumbai

General Rules:

Teams must be composed of students from the same colleges in Mumbai only.
The event is strictly offline and will be conducted at the TCET campus venue.
Teams with members from different academic years (e.g., First Year, Second Year,etc) are also allowed but all members must be from the same college.
Participants can be from any stream or discipline (e.g. Engineering, Law, BMS, Pharmacy, etc)
The debate will be conducted in English Only.
The debate will cover current scenarios as topics, such as political, social and economic issues.
Judges will evaluate teams on the quality of arguments, rebuttals and presentation.

Prizes:

1st Prize: Trophy, Medals, Cash Prize and Certificates
2nd Prize: Trophy, Medals, Cash Prize and Certificates
3rd Prize: Trophy, Medals and Certificates
All participants will receive Certificates of Participation.
